Bringing Sahaja Yoga to the seekers of the beautiful island of Jamaica August 19th - September 10th 2025

Transforming the world

Shri Mataji spent her life delivering Her divine message of light and love to Seekers across the planet. She constantly encouraged yogis to spread Her message whenever they could.

A Sahaja Yoga tour last visited this beautiful island in 1999, with the blessings of Shri Mataji. We believe it's time to revisit and spread the vibrations once more.

The two-week tour will visit both the North coast of the island, and also the capital Kingston. We hope that you can find it in your heart to join us vibrationally, even if not physically, on this historic return to the country.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our realisation tour

Why Jamaica?

Sahaja yoga has taken root in the Caribbean and Latin America region over the past several decades. There are now established yogis in Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Aruba and elsewhere. However, despite Jamaica being the largest English-speaking island in the area, there are no permanent established yogis living there.

We believe that with the deep historical connections between the UK, Jamaica and the slave trade, this is an oversight which Shri Mataji would like us to correct. In fact in 1999, She specifically suggested that we conduct self-realization programs across the island, which we did. However for whatever reason, Sahaja Yoga did not take root. This is our chance to rectify that situation.

How long to stay?

You are invited to attend the tour for as long as you can. Not everyone will come for the full three weeks, so feel free to spend whatever time you have available.

What to bring or not to bring?

Jamaica is a very hospitable country, there are no serious animal dangers, apart from the occasional angry chicken or goat. Do bring mosquito and insect repellent spray with you though so, as certain people react more than others.

What is the weather and food like in Jamaica?

The weather tends to be fairly consistent, hovering around 28 degrees to 35 degrees C most of the year. There is a hurricane season, but apart from that, the tropical downpours tend to be short and very wet. The food is delicious, especially the national dishes, but do be aware it can be spicy.

General information

Jamaica operates a very generous tourist visa program, with most countries being exempt from the need for a visa for tourism up to 90 days. More information can be found here at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_policy_of_Jamaica.
